Doesn't add up[edit]

She was born in Shanghai in 1937 and in 1955 she married Teddy Wang, whom she had dated since 1948 (when she was 13).

Eh? If she was born in 1937, then she would have been 11 when they started dating. Which figure is wrong? -- Lucky13pjn 23:30, Jan 28, 2005 (UTC)

I fixed this, she was born in 1937. - Vinny

did she own 100% of chinachem before her battle with her father in law?,, some magazines said she diversified her husband's share of chinachem....Snob 02:10, 31 March 2006 (UTC)any one know the details?[reply]

ALso doesn't add up: The article says the father established the business. Chinachem Group says Teddy Wang did. This article has the father fighting for Wang's money. I guess that whatever little business was established by the father was either transferred to or replaced by Teddy Wang's business. This needs to be made clear. Also, more info on the company should go into the Chinachem article not here. --kingboyk (talk) 18:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Forbes Article[edit]

The Forbes Article says "The kidnappers disposed of the car and took Wang out to sea on a sampan, a small Chinese boat. They dumped him, gagged and bound, into the sea. His body has never been found. "

I think that would be of interest. It should be worked into the main article. --Cngodles 13:31, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Beware[edit]

I received an email today so typical of the infamous Nigerian scams, pointing directly to this article. Beware people! If you receive mail pointing this way, record the email details and send it off to Interpol for them to track.

Merger proposal[edit]

I hereby propose that Teddy Wang be merged into this article. Essentially, Teddy is much less notable than Nina; any news article involving him revolves around her, which means he lacks the independent third-party mentions required to establish notability on his own. A recent AfD on a similar article ended with this result. --jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 16:57, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- I would agree that Teddy is much less notable... and should be merged here. Tom M. (talk) 12:17, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree. The founder of Chinachem and the victim of a kidnapping receiving widespread media attention is notable.--Jiang (talk) 13:07, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
