Relevance to topic[edit]

Reference to a specific political organisation in South Africa (and its size) is strained and irrelevant to topic. At best there should be a see also: Shackdweller movement section BlandBaroque (talk) 10:57, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ice shack was a bolded alternative name in Ice shanty but without an incoming redirect, perhaps because Ice Shack was a redirect to a TV episode list. I've made a dab page to include the two meanings. And I've added a redirect from Ice fishing shack, the term used in the web page (advert) you linked above. PamD 07:59, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shack as in Holiday House[edit]

Shack has a related meaning in Australia. In Australia in most cases Shack refers to a holiday house with limited facilities, rather than referring to a primary house-hold or home to low socio-economic peoples.
