Hotlinking Active Chapter Homepages[edit]

Does any editor have issue with me beginning to hotlink the chapters in the list to their respective homepages? Wynler 20:38, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No. Not at all. In fact, I listed them anticipating that chapter members would do just that. Hopefully all chapters will eventually be linked to their respective websites. Thanks for asking. Trojanpony 09:52, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, responding to these comments from 15 years ago. Our practice has evolved here on Wikipedia to avoid linking directly to chapter website. Too often, these go dormant or are vectors for viruses. University portal pages are better, and less subject to malware code. Jax MN (talk) 22:41, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects[edit]

Phi Kappa Sigma is also known as the "phi kaps" so I'm removing the redirect for now. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.196.79.169 (talkcontribs) 21:53, 23 August 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Phi kaps is legitimately a disambiguation page. Pity we have to alphabetize in English order and not Greek. :) For good measure, I have also added us to the Phi Kappa disambiguation page and made a redirect pointing here at Theta Kappa Phi. —C.Fred (talk) 01:46, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Phi Kaps[edit]

Given the explosion in this section, we need to come up with reliable sources for each one's status. I don't want to yank them all back down en masse, and I don't want to slap an {{unreferenced}} tag on the section, either. Please help me go looking for sources before another editor does, though. —C.Fred (talk) 16:54, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
