"A Police Woman is a female police officer."

Well, certainly not according to the pages that link to here!

Don't make a redirect to police woman, that's not on the wanted list! <KF> 19:37, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Too late. Morven redirected it to police officer. <KF> 19:40, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Added ref to TV series. Ideally, "police woman" could be the disamb page, with "Police Woman" the article about the series. Niteowlneils 19:53, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Great. In such a case that's the only sensible thing to do because all pages that link to this new one here are about the 1970s TV series. A redirect (let alone a double redirect, which was created in this case) is of no help whatsoever, but it usually only takes a minute or two for someone to do exactly that. Well, let's hope this new article will grow. <KF> 22:35, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)

a police woman could be found of broward county.

It would be nice to find some sort of link to the history and duties of female police officers. So far I have failed to find anything in Wikipedia about the specific roles for women in policing, and the history thereof, in answer to my grand-daughter's question, and am not qualified to add anything myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JMBryant (talkcontribs) 09:33, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Added Women in law enforcement under see also, which provides what you want. Mike Linksvayer (talk) 16:40, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
