I reworded the line about the characteristics of people with 22 in their numerological chart because it comes from the belief of numerologers and is not a scientific fact.

Also, I removed "-- and the word "work" adds up to a 22" because I'm not sure what alphabet this applies in. I think that W is the 23 letter of the English alphabet, so this means that after adding up the values of the letters, one would have to use some modular arithmetic to get it down to 22. Okay, does the fact that the digit sum of 22 is equal to its digit product—and the fact that it is the first natural number of more than one digit to do such—have any place in this article? --JB Adder | Talk 06:26, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed "22 was Papa Doc's favorite number" from the "See also" section. Googling the phrase only turns up websites that have copies the contents of this article. --Spug (talk) 19:37, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This may have been referring to François 'Papa Doc' Duvalier, who did have superstitious beliefs attaching to the number 22, according to these articles which do not reference the contents of this page http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/april/22/newsid_2525000/2525501.stm https://www.historyanswers.co.uk/people-politics/papa-doc-duvalier-the-voodoo-president-who-killed-kennedy/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.76.8.86 (talk) 14:52, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've corrected the entry on Conway's look-and-say sequence, giving an accurate reference. (OEIS is a reference for even list interesting matters.) I still think it's mathematical trivia, but am willing to let WP:CONSENSUS decide. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 00:46, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I’m in favour of interesting for this sequence. Newystats (talk) 05:24, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
