This is in fact a photo of Mckinley. Compare to this shot of mckinley from the north.

Why is Foraker described here as the third highest peak in the Alaska Range?[edit]

Sure looks, from every published list and studying maps, that it's the second-highest in the range. Anyone know what was meant, or was this simply a mistake due to it being the third-highest in the state? 2600:1700:A644:6000:75DD:70EC:14B9:476B (talk) 17:53, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would guess it's because Denali has two peaks. The south peak is the highest (and most climbed) at over 20,000 feet, while the north peak is just over 19,000 feet. Then Foraker at just over 17,000 feet. Zaereth (talk) 18:18, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
