ISBN link to Bookfinder.com[edit]

I would like the Wikipedia ISBN lookup to include a link to BookFinder.com ISBN search. I use it all the time to locate books I want to buy. There are two different links that I have found to do an ISBN lookup on bookfinder.com.

Link 1: https://www.bookfinder.com/search/?isbn=9780593492307&st=xl&ac=qr

Link 2: https://www.bookfinder.com/isbn/9780241547472/

I like output of "Link 1" the best as it usually gives a blurb about the book and seems to give more information such as clickable links to author name etc. -- Ubh [talk... contribs...] 14:23, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Amazon link broken[edit]

The link under "Online Text" for Amazon takes me to a page that just says "SORRY something went wrong on our end" no matter which ISBN I'm looking for. Other language Amazons have similar error messages. The other two links seem to work fine when the book is found in their respective databases, but Amazon doesn't return a valid response for anything I tried. Perhaps they changed the URL format? Using the two ISBNs from the section above: [1][2], or you could enter any ISBN into Special:BookSources to get a link as well. Kdroo (talk) 16:30, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Both links work for me. Special:BookSources generates same links, so it also works.

Can you access https://www.amazon.com?. If yes, paste 9780593492307 directly into the search bar there and see if it works. – Ammarpad (talk) 16:44, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Huh. I just went to amazon.com, and it asked me to enter a captcha to prove I wasn't a robot (I'm not logged in on this device). After doing that, the links started working. Never seen that before. Thanks, Kdroo (talk) 17:09, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
