Untitled[edit]

Hello,were the invaders just one episode or was there a movie (British)? I seem to remember a film or series about a world control type of m.i.b.'s and thier crowd control robots. I've only seen it once as a kid watching t.v. They certianly were not tiny robots as I vaguely recall.It was the seventies and the old flicks were not all bought yet.But late at night they would run stuff that you would have to search for these days. As I recall they were black and white movies. I got a friend who was also spaced out in the middle of NYC to try and figure out the plot, if this was going to be the future (though most people had color t.v. back then). Anyway,it was only a small mystery then among many to this day. It is after all almost dawn and in the shots i remember the streets were empty in the morning except for the invaders waiting yo do thier job and control the masses. It's late and i was just wondering about all the usual wierd stuff that goes on. Was this series(?) a prelude to the Dr.Who show? Were they the freaking Daleks or what? Who was that carrot guy? Jeez the stuff just was on so early here and you thought great but hard to follow.I guess they thought it was kids stuff as usual. The video effects worked great on the old sets as you munched out either real early or really late in those days. So late at night it became a thing to watch for anything different. Those days it was on alright, but nothing with any conspiricy to it. Then one predawn t.v. overdosed morning what I will take as the Invaders came on as an overly loud discussion was in progress, I tried to quiet down the people I was with. So after all these years I'm still wondering if there ever was such a program or series as what I felt the show was about? Complete social control, I'm sure there was a plot of course but it didn't register at that hour. I thought ,crap! This might happen,soon. That was almost thirty years ago. I only saw one episode and cannot recall anything but the empty streets of the city at dawn and the men in black guiding the robots along the city. Is tht what the show was about? Still wondering,F.F.

Bizarre theme[edit]
