A lifelong devotee of miscellany, my contributions so far include small articles on Shukri Ghanem, the prime minister of Libya; Margaret Visser, a Canadian writer; the Sunshine Coast Regional District, British Columbia; Arthur Conan Doyle's The Adventure of the Yellow Face; and edits on topics as varied as Indian temple prostitution, Malaysian beef stew, littoral zones and the dates of US elections.
