The Communist manifest ends in:

"Die Kommunisten verschmähen es, ihre Ansichten und Absichten zu verheimlichen. The last sentence is "workers of all countries, unite!", two before you'll see "Workers have nothing to loose but their chains", both roughly translated from German to English. -- till we *) 20:29, Aug 12, 2003 (UTC)

Tombstone[edit]

Support I think it should be as simple as making Soviet Union state motto a redirect. You're correct in that it's already mentioned here, and the link to Wiktionary with translations from the languages of the Soviet republics is more appropriate than listing them all as that article does. Section of translations into numerous languages removed.[edit]

I removed the section of translations for two reasons.

It is tagged as unreferenced since 2015
I do not see why we must include all these translations WP:Wikipedia is not a dictionary. We have numerous articles about various phrases, but we do not include translations in every possible language. IMO if for whatever reason some translation is important, Wikipedia article must cite a reliable source which (A) provides the translation and (B) explains why this translation has encyclopedic value. Overly long lists of the phrase in different languages[edit]

I am unconvinced that this article ought to list every given example of the phrase as a national motto, and given the length of the lists, I feel an article along the lines of List of nations which use Workers of the world, unite! as a motto would be more appropriate.
