Capital letter[s]? vs. lower-case[edit]

i think bitch should be spelled lower case Bitch >> bitch and that it should be reffered to as simply as Bitch and not Bitch magazene in the thumb image boxes Qrc2006 02:29, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • support both changes Qrc2006 02:29, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done. (sorta) (maybe not completely, but it's a start). --97.124.112.237 (talk) 07:48, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV?[edit]

Does the current article strike anyone else as sounding far too much like a promotional summary? Crito2161 02:47, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. In fact, it doesn't just strike anyone reading it as such, it bitch slaps them with the self promotional.

Secondary Sources[edit]

The book cited as a reference is not independent of the subject. VegetativePup (talk) 02:00, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a number of secondary sources that could be included. I'm removing this as a candidate for deletion. http://www.boston.com/news/globe/ideas/articles/2006/09/03/andi_zeisler_and_lisa_jervis/ http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/06/magazine/06wwln_q4.html http://articles.sfgate.com/2006-08-20/books/17308903_1_pop-culture-social-change-anthology http://www.prospect.org/cs/articles?article=feminist_media_in_a_time_of_economic_trouble http://eastbaymonthly.com/kilduff-02-07.html http://motherjones.com/politics/1998/01/lewinsky-affair http://www.msmagazine.com/winter2004/thirdwave.asp

undated e-mail used as source in "Mission Statement" section[edit]

Currently the only footnote in the "Mission Statement" section, is footnote [6] which says [quote! from the wikitext]: "<ref>an email from Jaymee Jacoby</ref>". Is it me, or does that seem a bit strange, for a source for a footnote in a Wikipedia article? It does not even give the [time and] date of the e-mail message. It does specify the sender, and the recipient is probably not necessary to document -- (I guess.) Just my 0.02; Any comments? --97.124.112.237 (talk) 07:38, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Canonical URL?[edit]

I'm not sure but is this the same magazine as bitchmedia.org?

If so I suspect the currently listed URL (bitchmagazine.org) is wrong.

Please advise. ~ 99.146.242.37 (talk) 11:11, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This post is to second this comment. I am not an account holder on wikipedia or any kind of editor, but the "official site" link is wrong. It redirect to a live blog. The official site is still currently active at bitchmedia.org 135.23.42.175 (talk) 23:28, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That seems to be correct, I've updated the link. TheManInTheBlackHat (Talk) 23:30, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
