Is there anyway of 'locking-down' a page so that parts of it can't be changed? It's very tiresome to see pages like this used for childish insults. The whole point is to have a neutral description of the subject.

Jeremy Clarkson[edit]

Without going into anything too libelous, what was suggested by popbitch about him?

Irrelevent forums[edit]

Anonymous editor 204.234.17.15 asked why i remove a link to, what as far as i can tell, message boards irrelevent to Popbitch. I asked the editor why he/she thought these boards should be linked. I received no response. I'm assuming good faith that the editor does not realise that there should be justification for contested edits. However, should the editor not provide justification, i will request page protection. Rockpocket 18:57, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

had previously been used by several other British newspapers in their celebrity pages[edit]

We need a citation for this. I read in Private Eye magazine that Popbitch invented the format and the tabloids copied it - sounds entirely likely. I don't tend to edit pages - I had presviously put the citation needed and then deleted the sentence after none was added after a couple of weeks - is there some sort of time limit on how long things can stay up there without citations?? Adam Curtis[edit]

Is Adam Curtis really on the 'steering comittee'? The linked article also asserts that he found the That's Life dog that could (sort of) say 'Sausages'. Surely these claims are too outlandish to add without a secondary source? It seems highly unlikely that Popbitch has a steering comittee... The globetrotter 21:04, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no 'steering committee', it was a joke taken out of context. --Samuelpinney (talk) 10:43, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed re the links to unrelated websites - it happens each time wikipedia gets a mention on the popbitch forum... 193.112.243.2 14:04, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
