John Charles LeCompt (born March 10, 1973) is an American guitarist. He was a tour musician for the rock band Evanescence, playing rhythm guitar from 2003 to 2007. He has played in multiple bands with long-time friend Rocky Gray, including Kill System, Machina and We Are the Fallen.
Career[edit]
LeCompt and singer Phil Taylor formed the band Machina, which also includes bassist Thad Ables and drummer Rocky Gray.[1] In 2003, he joined Evanescence as a touring musician alongside Gray, playing guitar with the band until 2007.[2] LeCompt and Gray have also played in the bands Kill System and Soul Embraced.[1] He provided guest vocals on the track "Seems Like Forever" from Soul Embraced's album Immune. LeCompt joined Gray and former Evanescence member Ben Moody for the band We Are the Fallen.[3] In 2012, his band Machina was signed to Rogue Records.[1]
