Interior Design Education

In 1960 Jacqueline Inchbald opened The Inchbald School of Design, the first private school dedicated to studying Interior Design and Decoration in the UK - the School was modeled on Parsons School of Design in New York. Inchbald is now affiliated with Glyndwr University in Wales. incorrect opening paragraph : sentence 1;

As stated by another, interior design is an art, but it does not qualify as a science, as it is the art of interior design, not the science of interior design. In short words, I believe the line ""Interior design is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building"" should be converted to ""Interior design is the art and practice of enhancing the interior of a building"".
