something is wrong with them.Lir 03:47 Oct 20, 2002 (UTC)

You heard it from him first.

Yelyos[edit]

Just posting to say that I've always been a fan of your writings, ever since reading that post on II that led to the Psychic Test. (Was going to get around to this earlier, but was too afraid of PM feature on II. Don't ask.)

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that there are people out there who get all giddy whenever they notice "Ashibaka" (or "Ashitaka", but only in the case of the aforementioned Ashibaka ... on second thought, the movie is pretty gidd-inducing* itself.

All right, enough rambling from me. Just happy to see a familiar face in this really really big crowd.

* No, this isn't a word, but it should be. I mean, it's gidd! What sane person wouldn't want it as a word?

Yelyos 06:56, Mar 20, 2004 (UTC)

Hello! This is a fine Internet, isn't it? I guess I ought to get around to updating my website-- after becoming a goon it's remained stagnant. Anyway, it's great to know that I actually have a fan of the petty, teenager-y things I write, considering I know I have many people who dislike me for it. So, thanks! :) --Ashi

message[edit]

I saw your comment on vandalism-I suggest you view both of our contributions before you comment-he is definetly a troll. GrazingshipIV 20:14, Mar 31, 2004 (UTC)

He doesn't have very many contributions, does he? --Ashi

Custom Sig[edit]

Hi, I noticed your sig on this VfD debate, (hope you don't mind that I stole your pencil ;-) ) and I was wondering how you got the sig to work the way you want. You will notice that I have a

<nowiki></nowiki>

stuck in the front of mine (for this is the method that I was given from others' documentation). Note that as long as its not done through the MediaWiki: namespace, I don't have a problem with it. Any ideas? Xoder|&#9998 15:25, Apr 1, 2004 (UTC)

My signature is a simple hack of the kind adored by script meddlers:
   Ashibaka]] [[User talk:Ashibaka|✎
In other words, I close the affixed wiki link ]], then open up a second for my talk link [[ which is closed afterwards. It doesn't involve nowiki tags. Good luck! --Ashi 18:46, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)

You've got mail![edit]

I strongly suggest that you should add the announcement project page on alternative medicine to your watchlist. -- John Gohde, aka Mr-Natural-Health 15:52, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for the suggestion. Will do. Ashibaka 15:09, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)
You may not know this yet, but Ed Poor, aka Uncle Ed, is the latest participant of our project. You two need to start discussing what your preoccupation concerns with pseudoscience, the paranormal, and religion are. To me, pseudoscience is simply a classification. Our project will be collecting statistics from our review of the CAM articles.
Astrology exists. It is a pseudoscience. It is also a diagnostic method used in Alternative Medicine. I would classify the astrology article as only being tangential to CAM. I have no personal interest in using astrology or homeopathy, what so ever, or advocating their use. -- John Gohde, aka Mr-Natural-Health 19:18, 24 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Alternative medicine[edit]

Hi there. I've made some changes to the Alternative Medicine Wikiproject. As a participant, you may want to have a look at the page and at its talk page. -- ALargeElk | Talk 13:54, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Sent you an email[edit]

Hi Ashibaka, I sent you an email this morning from my gmail account. Hope you received it.  :) [[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 22:48, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for telling me on Wikipedia because you sent an e-mail to one of my old ISP accounts that I no longer use and is filled with spam. I will reply now Ashibaka 20:48, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Public Domain[edit]

There is a reference at Guide_to_the_CC_dual-license that says your changes are released into the public domain. If this is the case, could you add the {{MultiLicensePD}} template to your user page so we can keep track of users that release their changes into the public domain? -- Ram-Man 02:24, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)

Done. Thanks, I didn't know where that tag was. Ashiibaka tlk 04:46, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I've created a WikiProject devoted to cleaning up the Wikipedia namespace, as you suggested on the Village Pump. Please look it over, add what you've been doing, and change it as you wish. JesseW 07:38, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Islamophobia[edit]

That photo shows one of the many reasons for anti-Muslim sentiments. As it exists now, the article seems to come off as saying "Westerners are all fanatical bigots for being opposed to Islamic extremism", which is just as POV as the caption I used for that photo, if not moreso. BSveen 20:17, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)

Please edit the article, then. Two wrongs don't make a right. Ashibaka tlk 20:19, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Collaboration of the Week[edit]

Your vote for African art has helped bring about the article's selection as this week's Collaboration of the week. Please join in trying to make the article a feature.

The Humungous Image Tagging Project[edit]

Hi. You've helped with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Wiki Syntax, so I thought it worth alerting you to the latest and greatest of Wikipedia fixing project, User:Yann/Untagged Images, which is seeking to put copyright tags on all of the untagged images. There are probably, oh, thirty thousand or so to do (he said, reaching into the air for a large figure). But hey: they're images ... you'll get to see lots of random pretty pictures. That must be better than looking for at at and the the, non? You know you'll love it. best wishes --Tagishsimon (talk)
