Hi there. I hope you don't mind if I respond here, rather than email (just makes it easier if we use talk pages, since it's not private or anything). First, I should clarify, I didn't nominate the article, I was the administrator who closed it, and therefore had never seen the article until I looked at the discussion and decided the consensus was not to delete. Having said that, I've looked over the article and will give you my feedback. First, minor, suggestion is that in an article, rather than a list, prose is always preferred over bulleted lists, do if you could convert the bullets to a genuine paragraph, that would be nice. With reference to the "advertising" tone, it doesn't sound too horrible, but I think you fell into the common trap that having the creator write an article creates. It sounds like you're avoiding reality and only addressing the founding goals and features. It's like if I rote an article about the United States, but I only wrote about the ideals of democracy and liberty and the Constitution and freedoms and Founfing Fathers, etc. You see what I mean? That doesn't reveal a lot about the actual US (meaning politics, culture, economy, history, that stuff). So only talking about goals and features, that's what an advertiser would do. Perhaps add some history and current stuff, even some of the bad things about it. Anyway, see where that takes you. Happy editing! --Dmcdevit·t 22:29, July 28, 2005 (UTC)
