No context, no explanation as to where it comes from, origin unknown, link to All your base are belong to us doesn't explain it. RickK 01:57, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Joke. AYBBTU and its variants are hacker's jargon claiming to have taken a system, teh has many uses but this is one of them too. The author of this article, user:Wikisux, says on their user page I have strong philosophical objections to the concept of Wikipedia, and I have been guilty of vandalism in the past, so watch out. Interesting. Andrewa 03:09, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy Delete. Nonsense. --Starx 04:59, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ditto...and block the user - Lucky 6.9 16:32, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changing vote to delete only if unsubstantiated. - Lucky 6.9 23:54, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I spent a good half hour searching for the origin of this phrase in vain, and it's not hard to imagine others interested in its etymology as well. If we delete this stub, how do we justify keeping All your base, goatse.cx, or Naked and Petrified? These pages are no less nonsense than "On teh spoke." - Wikisux 20:26, May 14, 2004 (UTC)
    • Yeah, but they're nonsense with a lot of history, information, and culture behind them - just look at how many games mention "all your base"! "On teh spoke", on the other hand, has little history. If it was that hard to find the origin of it, how significant can it be? PMC 20:28, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
      • On the contrary, I've seen quite a few pages referencing "On teh spoke" (I'm ashamed to admit). It's true that its origins are obscure, but the phrase itself is everywhere you look, if you frequent the same retarded sites on which the aforementioned no-nonsense memes tend to be found.
      • Actually, I just found this Slashdot thread (http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=104379&cid=8890172) that indicates at least three people, besides me, are curious about the phrase's history, and that's just among people who would read to the bottom of a boring Slashdot thread with fewer than 200 comments. I'll update the article with this information. -- Wikisux 20:49, May 14, 2004 (UTC)
  • Comment: Thought you all might like to see the mature and sportsmanlike manner in which my delete and block motion was answered: Where do you get off suggesting I be blocked for starting an article? Jerk. -- Wikisux 20:28, May 14, 2004 (UTC) Nice. From an admitted vandal, yet. - Lucky 6.9 21:21, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • I had previously thought that since this was a matter between the two of us, it would be more appropriate to take it to your private user page. But if you really think this discussion belongs out here, I'm happy to oblige you. -- Wikisux 21:28, May 14, 2004 (UTC)
      • I've stricken my last comment as possibly inappropriate to the debate and have informed Wikisux of same. I don't want to start a war. - Lucky 6.9 21:42, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. --Ben Brockert 23:15, May 14, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. "Teh" is not a word. 66.32.132.150 23:52, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Trivial. If it's still around in six months, maybe try again. DS 22:29, 17 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
