Hi! I noticed that you just started the page for Ratel20 by copying the contents of T-72. It is of course OK to use the structure of another page, but you started by saving the T-72 version. You should not save any version until you have removed all content, otherwise the page history will be confusing. Thue 15:13, 22 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all the maps. I do not know if you could mark the course of the Tugela River on the map you provided. Keep it up. Wizzy 10:29, 7 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Eshowe as well .. I visit there a lot. There should be pages on Richards Bay and St Lucia too, but I cannot make anything more than a stub on those. My friend Iain has been plugging at Ingwavuma - I am sure he would love a map ! Wizzy 14:10, 8 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Outstanding job on all the KZN parks. Whew. That is a lot of work. Have you looked at wikitravel.org ? I looked, but I couldn't figure out the structure and do's and dont's well enough. Personally, I would like to see Nongoma, and perhaps Babanango, with pages. Will work on hooking your parks into the other pages, and regular web pages (like http://eshowe.com/ ) that I maintain. Welcome to wikipedia !! Wizzy 07:19, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Nongoma and Babanango[edit]

Again, magnificent job. Been a bit busy lately - and the time I have been putting into Wikipedia has been on King Goodwill. Thanks for those two! Wizzy 15:40, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Stanger[edit]

I spend most of my time in Cape Town, actually - but I was in Stanger about a month ago - for the Shaka Day festivals. I think everyone there calls it Stanger - road signs say Stanger, etc. It is, after all, an Indian town - you can imagine what they think about a name change. I never even heard of the city changing name until I looked it up on Wikipedia .. The stadium is KwaDukuza.

I think everyone in Bombay still calls it Bombay too ..

Spotted your Empangeni page recently .. Wizzy 12:31, Oct 20, 2004 (UTC)

and George Bizos as he touched the Rivonia Trial page. excellent stuff. Bulelani Ngcuka great choice. Wizzy 17:02, Nov 3, 2004 (UTC)

Johannesburg Map[edit]

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the better map of Johannesburg. It's really made the Johannesburg article so much better! I hope you don't mind that I moved the information about the administrative regions to the City Government region, I thought it was more relevant there. PZFUN 18:46, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

KwaZulu-Natal map[edit]

Shouldn't it be "Drakensberg" instead of "Drankensburg"? Gzornenplatz 23:17, Nov 5, 2004 (UTC)

In fact I ask because we use it on french wikipedia ;) So do I put the GFDL tag, Public domain tag ? Tipiac 20:20, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Ok, I added the tag, just let me know when it gets updated and thanks for this map ;) Tipiac 23:31, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

South African Collaboration of the Week![edit]

Hello, this is just a brief, friendly announcement to let you know that there is now a South African Collaboration of the Week where we vote every two weeks to select an article about South Africa that is either a stub or nonexistent and attempt make it featured article quality by the end of the week. Your comments, voting, and participation would be very welcome! PZFUN 17:51, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Unverified images[edit]

Hi! Thanks for uploading the following images:

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use gfdl if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, fairuse if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the imagesand I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. Peter O. (Talk, automation script) 01:36, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)

P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.

Article Licensing[edit]

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)
