MR, did you get to work on time last Monday? Have you checked out my article on the Ironbound? ~dinopupDinopup 03:48, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hi. Just a quick note that we're voting (again) on renaming/moving the Lost (2004 television series) article, this time to the shorter Lost (TV series). As you were a participant in the previous discussion/vote, please register your support or opposition here: Talk:Lost (2004 television series) Thanks! LeFlyman 05:29, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Satyadasa, you appear to have failed to observe that my last two edits to that talk page are in response to Gryffindor, who wants to keep the page at the unsuitable title above. My proposal hasn't changed. Please go back and reread. Septentrionalis 21:50, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I understood that. I was taking the opportunity to further my point by also using that thread. Satyadasa 23:15, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • On rereading this thread, I see I misread the grounds for your proposal. If you want to make an argument at Naming Conventions about disputed titles of pretence, I will be interested to see what comes.

The Magic Flute[edit]

There seem to be straw men popping up again at Talk:Die Zauberflöte. Please come see. Septentrionalis 20:14, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The proposal to move these to Imbros and Tenedos has been reopened. Septentrionalis 04:32, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Namaste Satyadasa, thank you for your comments. I have now posted a request, I invite you to vote on this issue and hopefully we can get it settled. Thank you and with kind regards Gryffindor 10:05, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your vote, if you ever need anything else please let me know. with kind regards Gryffindor 14:09, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:OASIS map of Norwood, Bronx, New York.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 19:18, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rome[edit]

Hi there. I have not touched your article on the limits of the Vatican, but have been to Rome many, many times. Castel Sant' Angelo is outside the limits of Vatican territory by a significant margin. Would you like to correct your article?--Anthony.bradbury 17:01, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I'm about to put my whole article up for deletion. I discovered too late that another already exists under the title "Extreme points of the Vatican City". Pending that there is a redirect. Satyadasa 17:05, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Lara[edit]

The improperly blanked and deleted page you started has been undeleted; at User talk:MZMcBride#Remediation of one of your speedies i stated why. If you notice such a thing happening again, i'd hope you'd feel free to speak out.

Richard Shelby[edit]

Please do not insert synthesis on pages like Richard Shelby; this is a violation of Wikipedia's original research policies, especially when the accompanying language like "ignorant" plainly violates WP:NPOV. THF (talk) 14:22, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Pet white fancy rat.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Pet white fancy rat.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:08, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Archaic human admixture with modern humans, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maasai. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File:Bochnia mapa XIX w.png needs authorship information[edit]

Dear uploader:

The media file you uploaded as File:Bochnia mapa XIX w.png appears to be missing information as to one (or more) of the following :

  1. The author or creators of the work, (including information as to the author's lifespan).
  2. Where and how this particular version was obtained.
  3. When the work was created,

If you did provide such information, it is currently confusing for others trying to make use of the image.

It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.

Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided), authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).

  • If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which: {{subst:usernameexpand|Satyadasa}} will produce an appropriate expansion,
    or use the {{own}} template.

Please also add authorship and sourcing to other files you created or uplopaded. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions please see Help:File page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:45, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please help - we have the one editor - User:Surtsicna - who refuses to have both a separate ancestry section for Markle (on her page) and also states that her proven ancestors - as published in the Washington Post (page 3) and the New York Times (page 5), are only "trivia" and of no interest to anyone. This editor is particularly irritated by the inclusion of the published references to the shared ancestry of Markle and Prince Harry - i.e. Sir Philip Wentworth and his wife - the great grandparents of Jane Seymour. This editor continues to stir up other editors. Your assistance is always appreciated. 101.182.160.40 (talk) 01:59, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
