Your ArbCom submission[edit]

You appear to have nominated yourself to the Arbitration Committee here; however, this was done by an IP address (you weren't logged in). --Goobergunch|? 03:51, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)

should be fixed now!

A Message to my Fellow Candidate[edit]

Friend,
The Arbitration Committee elections are almost here. I humbly ask for your vote in this election cycle. I have been a user of Wikipedia for over a year. I was here before the Community Portal, categories, or {{stub}}. I know how Wikipedia operates, and I am prepared to do my part to deal with problematic accounts. I wish to cut out the bureaucracy that makes our website stagnate. We need solutions to our problems now. If you want an arbitrator who believes in action, frankness, honesty, and fairness in every case, I am your arbitrator. Thank you for your time. You are under no obligation to answer this message.

As of March 25, 2005, there are an additional (6) articles listed for deletion under the POV notion that schools are non-notable (even though this is invalid reasoning as per the Wikipedia deletion policy). Please be aware that the following schools are actively being discussed and voted upon:

In response to this cyclical ordeal, a Schoolwatch programme has been initiated in order to indentify school-related articles which may need improvement and to help foster and encourage continued organic growth. Your comments are welcome and I thank you again for your time. --GRider\talk

VFD[edit]

Just letting you know about Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/HYP (universities) 2. If you have an opinion, please vote. I am notifying people who have been active on both sides of the debate. —Lowellian (talk) 23:47, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)

Hi. Tong Ren Tang is rewritten. Cheers. -- BD2412 talk 16:54, 2005 Jun 13 (UTC)

I agree that this should be merged. Please note that you can merge things by being WP:BOLD, and that this doesn't require a deletion vote. See also WP:FICT and Wikipedia:Merge. Yours, Radiant_>|< 10:58, Jun 14, 2005 (UTC)

 • The VFD discussion is no longer relevant. I'm sure if anyone objects (which seems unlikely) they'll bring it up there. Radiant_>|< 11:12, Jun 14, 2005 (UTC)

Self-induced abortion vfd.[edit]

Thank you for voting to keep the article on self-induced abortion. I promise to continue working to develop and improve this article. -- BD2412 talk 15:24, 2005 Jun 17 (UTC)

Name Change[edit]

Your name, in my opinion, violates Wikipedia policy. It is a pun on cunnilingus - which you could not possibly be unaware of. Please choose an alternative, and an Administrator will rename your account.

Your contributions will reflect the name change, but your talk pages comments will not. The latter will redirect to your new name. Uncle Ed 16:07, August 6, 2005 (UTC)

Some time ago, you supported the nomination of American Old West at the COTW. I have now renominated it at the new US Collaboration. If you are still interested, you can support the article with your vote there!--Fenice 08:55, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You voted to delete Systemwars.com and it was deleted. However, Tony Sidaway has decided that your vote and the consensus that agreed with you was insufficient. He has recreated the article in violation of policy and relisted it for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Systemwars.com (second version). Please take a look. - Tεxτurε 15:45, 4 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello CunningLinguist, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Leninorder.jpg) was found at the following location: User:CunningLinguist. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 13:06, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Order of Canada (Companion).png[edit]

Image:Order of Canada (Companion).png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Orphaned non-free image File:RadioVagoBlackAndWhiteEPCover.gif[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:RadioVagoBlackAndWhiteEPCover.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 18:31, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Radio Vago[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Radio Vago. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Radio Vago. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:17, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
