Oversampling

On oversampling you wrote:

For instance, to implement a 24-bit converter, it is sufficient to use a 20-bit converter that can run at 16 times the target sampling rate. It's probably worth explaining this in more detail. In the meantime, the best I can do is refer you to the Watkinson book. In the edition I have (2nd), oversampling is explained in great detail from page 147 onwards. Ldo 09:54, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
