Image copyright problem with Image:Drhugoheyrman.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Drhugoheyrman.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 22:15, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note to Shyam Bihari: About the Image copyright problem with Image:Drhugoheyrman.jpg. I will upload the image and confirm the —GNU Free Documentation License. Is this OK? -- Dr. Hugo 10:54, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Shyam: more information about the copyright holder and copyright status of the used image. I have been granted permission by the copyright holder. I received the following e-mail from the author of the image.

Confirmation: I agree to give Dr.Hugo Heyrman the copyright for the photo "Drhugoheyrman.jpg" '97 as described further: Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Author: Charles Francois Drhugoheyrman.jpg (312x234 - 68KB, MIME type: image/jpeg) Image:Drhugoheyrman.jpg -- Charles Francois, May 1, 2006

I hope this is a solution for the problem. Can I upload the image again? Thanks for the advice! -- Dr. Hugo 11:02, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Autobiography[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Autobiography. I came across you on the synesthesia talk-page and listed you on Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles, but please be aware that individuals are strongly discouraged from editing articles about them as this constitutes a significant conflict of interests which endangers NPOV. Shaggorama 20:54, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note to Shaggorama: in this case a personal website, online since 1995 (reflecting a lifetime of pioneering field work in the arts, digital media and synesthesia) is used as a reference for general biographical information. The content is neutral, fair, comprehensive, and everything in the articles is verifiable. -- Dr. Hugo 11:39, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

your image,[edit]

I?m sorry for the inconvenience, seems to be a misunderstanding. I've checked, it's all ok, so I reuploaded it (I don't know why it failed for you) and tagged it properly so it won't get deleted again.

Again, I'm deeply sorry if we caused you any inconvenience, but shouldn't happen again. -- ( drini's page ) 17:10, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Drini, thanks for solving this problem, in a professional Wiki-way -- Dr. Hugo 08:25, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hugo Heyrman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zwijndrecht. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
