I think the person who wrote this meant the gerund form. For example, nouns like "talking", "drinking" and "pilfering" are gerunds. If I hear no objections in a week or so, I'll edit it in, and add some examples. arj 09:43, 18 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant?[edit]

Is there any need for this page? If all we're going to say is that we prefer the gerund, then we can say that on the main naming conventions page (and we do: WP:NC#Name construction). The same applies to WP:Naming conventions (adjectives).--Kotniski (talk) 08:51, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
