Looks like self promotion. Google gives only 55 hits. A big pointer to the self promotion theory is that the page was created and edited by User:Petzi. -- Graham :) | Talk 16:05, 28 May 2004 (UTC)

- I can understand that the concept of Wiki might be to refer to words, entities or other who are quite noticeable or known. And yes, it was originally edited by me without a user but I then registered accordingly.
- "Not even a professional" is quite deceiving. I would appreciate a specific meaning of the word professional. If you do get to read wiki's own definition you might yourselves be the barrier. - Generally, it's Wikipedia policy that you shouldn't write an article on yourself. After all, if you're famous enough, someone else will write one eventually. See Wikipedia:Autobiography. This isn't a commentary on whether the subject of the article has enough prominence, just a bow to the fact that autobiographies usually end badly, for both the article and the writer. - Okay, the language barrier may be a problem here. You state you work in computer science, have no entry at [All music guide, a Google search only has 963 hits; you fail to say whether you recordings have charted, which suggests that they have not. All this suggests that you are an amateur however good you may be at spinnin' the decks, and atleast not worthy of an entry. As regard to music, fans of the music will generally give you an entry once they think you're significant enough. (see DJ Ötzi). Perhaps you would be better off writing about your inspirations? - I'm not sure what search parameters you used but Graham :) only found 55 and I found even fewer after filtering out the duplicates and obvious commercial plugs. Not yet notable. By the way, inclusion of the album art in the article may create copyright problems. I'll ask on the Talk page. In the meantime, delete. Rossami 22:22, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- I got about 300 for "DJ Petzi", and even if my search is getting something wrong, 55 hits is still pretty good. I work on articles all the time where I can't find nearly that many hits for the subject. Everyking 01:32, 29 May 2004 (UTC)

- They're about 90% me. What are these hits for? I've inhabited various mailing lists, newsgroups, and websites. I've written some papers, and refs show up in bibliographies and so on. I wrote a bit of code that fills a certain need and a few projects picked it up. In short, I've been piddling about, mostly for amusement, and I've left a trail of cracker crumbs. The point is that the raw number of Google hits is not a reliable indicator of notability. We have to ask, what are these hits?
