Szia!

Sicboy 13:45, 2004 Sep 29 (UTC)

Creating Articles w/ Categories[edit]

Good work creating new articles. When you create things, it helps tremendously to assign them to an accurate category (see WP:CG for info). If you're really not sure about categories, at least assign your new articles a stub category (see WP:SC for info). By assigning a category, you help make sure your new articles don't get lost as 'orphans' that are not associated with related topics. Feco

Contributing to Hungarian Wikipedia[edit]

Hali! Nincs kedved a magyar Wikipédiába is besegíteni? Köszi, nyenyec  21:16, 29 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

De tényleg köszi, jó editálgatást, --Sicboy 22:52, 2005 May 29 (UTC)

Szia!

Van-e glottális zárhang igekötő + ige közt a magyarban?[edit]

Ilyen kérdést tettek föl nekem a vitalapomon. Kíváncsi lennék a véleményedre!

Ui.: nem jössz a debreceni Wiki-találkozóra február 11-én?

Adam78 01:29, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1. Okej, megyek a te lapodra válaszolni.
--Sicboy 13:44, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hármashatár-hegy[edit]

Thank you for correction about Buda and Óbuda not being counties. For some reason I was thinking that it was Pest's border that was there, which is why I thought they were all counties. Of course it is really Pesthidegkút that used to be the city. I have a question: why did Pesthidegkút get moved behind Ófalu and Széphalom if it used to be next to Hármashatár-hegy? Dorfnerw 05:40, 28 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ummm, Széphalom, and Ófalu (lit. Old Village) must be parts of Pesthidegkút; Hármashatárhegy is still between the Rózsadomb area, Phkút both II. district, and Óbuda/Kiscell/etc. III. district. The Pest in Pesthidegkút still refers to the Pest county, it is surprising to many that it is on the Buda side, not the Pest side! --Sicboy 22:12, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging Image:Horngy.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Horngy.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hungarian Elections 2006[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you were writing/editing articles on the upcoming Hungarian elections. I decided to clean them up a bit but would gladly help you with expanding them and covering the latest news and results as they appear. Perhaps we should agree on some things first. I am a FIDESZ supporter but I do not mind publishing both points of view on specific issues (none yet). I will also be impartial in my articles except for any clearly labelled POV sections. Furthermore, I will be keen to weed out political/ideological vandalism from either the left or the right, and I hope you will too. Just to make it clear, are you a FIDESZ or MSZP/SZDSZ supporter? Get back to me whenever you have the time on my discussion page. Cheers, PistolPower 17:37, 5 February 2006 (UTC) .[reply]

Well then, it seems we have common ambitions in covering the latest about H. politics, and wiping out all forms of unnecessary POV sections that we will certainly have. About my sympathies, I will vote on the elections, but I'm not a fanatic on either side now, so I will decide in the latest days, and meanwhile enjoy the show ;) --Sicboy 00:25, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hungarian terms for consonants and vowels[edit]

Hi Sicboy,

I wonder if you could look into these two templates in the Hungarian Wikipedia which I recently translated, so as to check if the terms I used are the best possible ones in Hungarian linguistics. I tried to check everything but you may find mistakes or have some better ideas.

You can see the names of the individual sounds if you move your curson on the symbols. (If you'd like to see the original English terms, you can click to the English version at the bottom-left corner.)

Thank you so much if you can help!

Adam78 00:21, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They look good, however we usually use more anglicised terms by the vowels (labiális instead of ajakkerekítéses, etc.), but it is fine in a more Hungarian version. Good job! ;) And svá can also be "semleges mgh.", "centrális mgh." etc.
We also use the international terms by the consonants (bilabiális, ...) that you used in the translation, however, many of these have Hungarian names as well:
Nazális -- Orrhang
Bilabiális -- Ajak(kal képzett) msh
Dentális -- Foghang
But I think it is okay to use the more scientific names in an IPA chart, because they are much more precise than the Hungarian names
Nem pulmonikus <--> nem a tüdőből kiáramló levegővel képzett... quite long, we should have to do something with that...

2006 European floods[edit]

Thank you for updating the figures for Hungary that were wrong - I'll take out the citation tag and archive our conversation on the talk page. Cheers! --User:Firien § 09:16, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Hevaq.jpg[edit]

Hello, Sicboy. I found Image:Hevaq.jpg, which is tagged with {{GFDL-presumed}} because it is missing a licensing tag. Since this is your photo, please clarify its licensing status with an appropriate licensing tag. Let me know if you need help or if you have any questions. —Bkell (talk) 19:12, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
