I've been using Wikipedia for work and pleasure for months, so I thought I'd start contributing myself! Here's hoping I don't tread on any wiki-toes....

My interests: Ancient history: Byzantium, Stonehenge, Buddhism, Music: Led Zeppelin, Literature: sci-fi such as Dune_(novel), Politics: pre- and post-revolutionary states, such as Cuba, the former USSR, and Turkey.

Once upon a time I did a degree in biology, and I am still very interested in the fungi, taxonomy, evolution and, as the name suggests, genetics.

Home is currently London, but it has been Merthyr Tydfil, Oxford, Canterbury, and Southampton, all on that rock in the North Atlantic.

As yet, my edits have been very small, and few and far between. I must get round to writing an article about Howard Marks.
