I want to talk about something linked famous things in Fukui, my home-town.

In Fukui,you can eat a delicious crab. It is called Echizen Gani. I want to explain kinds of crabs which are eaten in Japan.

Zuwai Gani:It is caught all over the sea of Japan(Nihon Kai). Echizen Gani is one kind of Zuwai Gani. Zuwai Gani which is caught around Fukui and Ishikawa is called Echizen Gani. And Zuwaigani which is caught around Kyoto is called Matsuba Gani.

Ke Gani: It is caught around Hokkaido. Ke means hair and it has hair around its shell.

Taraba Gani: Other crabs have ten legs, but Taraba Gani have eight legs. It is because Taraba Gani is one kind of hermit crabs(Yadokari).
