Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/La Hermandad

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Article La Hermandad listed on WP:VFD May 1 to May 7 2004, consensus was to delete. Discussion:

A society so secret we can't even explain what it is. A society created by someone we don't have an article about and whose country isn't defined. A society with a Spanish name created in 333 BC. RickK 02:27, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. found 5 links on google for query "La Hermandad" Mamut VI, all in spanish(?) -- Chris 73 | (New) Talk 02:59, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • I ran a couple searches in Spanish and didn't see anything likely-looking. It's nonsense, I think. Isomorphic 03:36, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Spanish Wikipedia has a stub on es:Hermandad, but it appears to be related to Holy Week. Which means it can't possibly relate to a society supposedly founded in 333 BC. Delete. --Michael Snow 03:49, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: patent nonsense. Mamut == mammoth, as in hairy ice age elephant. Hermandad is the generic word for brotherhood. Nobody spoke Spanish in 333 BC. Article was written by anonymous editor w/ no other contributions. Wile E. Heresiarch 08:38, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: for reasons already stated. JimD 22:54, 2004 May 3 (UTC)
