Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gendertalk

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A radio show. Doesn't say which station, but doesn't seem particulary notable, probably vanity. Dunc_Harris| 17:13, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • Umm,

GenderTalk is the leading worldwide weekly radio program that talks about transgenderism in the first person. Each week we present news, information, and exciting new voices that challenge our traditional view of gender -- and more.

    I don't think we're talking about a very large domain here. Not notable. Delete.-Samuel J. Howard 19:13, Sep 3, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep, definitely meets the minimum requirements for notability. And since I know the author of the article, I know it is not vanity/ad. — David Remahl 11:47, 4 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • The minimum requirement for notability is notability. Please explain in what way it is notable.--Samuel J. Howard 06:08, Sep 5, 2004 (UTC)
    • If you know about it, could you at least fill in the relevant details? Such as which radio station, which country? If this (in my opinion) absolutely necessary detail isn't filled in by the end of the voting period, I vote delete. Average Earthman 22:07, 4 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Changed my vote to neutral. — David Remahl 03:37, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
      • Yes, please delete. It runs on one college station (WMBR) once a week. It really isn't notable. The station is only 720 watts.--Samuel J. Howard 06:08, Sep 5, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. I've never heard of it, but I think the google hit count says it all. A few more sentences would be nice though. Also, it is simucast on something called RadioPower, which you can appearently access via iTunes. Plus, they've been on the air for 4 years or so. func(talk) 06:26, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete - seems likely to be a permastub. Snowspinner 03:34, Sep 8, 2004 (UTC)
