Hi. Re: vandalism message on the talk page when you weren't logged in. It is true that a lot of people receive these messages because of the dynamic assignment of IP addresses. I wish the "you have new messages" notification would expire after a certain time for non-logged-in persons. Don't worry about the message. Hehe, I find Descartes' arguments very interesting - certainly a novel and influential approach in the history of philosophy. (which is why most textbooks start "modern philosophy" with Descartes). In the matter of the mind-body problem I do however find him to make too many metaphysical assumptions - completely understandable for his time, but I personally prefer the more modern theories (functionalism, ID theory).
