Doesn't this belong under Gdansk? And a lot of the below sounds anti-Polish, and suffers from an excessive use of German.

I suggest removing this page, almost all information it contains is also on Gdansk, and it was Free City not Free State anyway --Taw

This is a good example of where redirects don't work; if I hit the topic of "Free State Danzig", I end up in an article where the explanation of the term "Free State of Danzig" is waaaaaaay down the page. In fact the term "Free State" doesn't even appear in the article it's redirected to, only the German is given. This is bad. What we want is a little stub which quickly explains the history of the "Free State of Danzig" name (this history can be found in the Gdansk article), and then a suggestion to look in Gdansk for more information.
