Maybe this should be made a disambiguation page. Why is it that articles on some topics are written by people who know only the most commonplace colloquial meaning of a word? If I say that the Parthenon is the most celebrated buidling in Athens, or that Einstein was a celebrated physicist, or that the Archbishop of Canterbury celebrates certain rites, I'm not writing about a party. I agree (with the disambiguation or top-level + detail) page. Pavel Vozenilek 14:40, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)

This is a very low activity edit page - and the quality of the text is really off! Suggestion is that Celebration (party) remain for the personal level, and a new Celebration with a qualifying parenthesis word such as group or national be used. Will do it anyway User:SatuSuro 07:17, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Support. Celebration (party) should be merged to party then deleted. Everything that could or should be covered in celebration is and will be covered in party. 24.126.199.129 02:44, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
