Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/World cities

A comment by DJ Clayworth, 13:53, 8 Jul 2004 (UTC), from the talk page:

... This category is a very bad idea. It is inherently POV, and I don't see how you could come up with objective definitions. Also you can't reasonably argue to keep any city off it. There is always going to be a a city which is "just as good" as the cities on the list, and so should be added. See also World city.

Delete. You could make Category:Cities by size if you really wanted. ··gracefool | 05:12, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. The entry for World city is meandering and expansive, assuming it is the basis for inclusion on the list of "world cities." Speaking of the world city page, any second motions for deletion on that page? (If there's support here, we'll move any comments to that page after we start it.) ishu 04:38, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Sociology and geography do have clear definitions we could apply here. Magadan 15:51, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Do you have any examples to help with this decision? --ishu 03:34, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
