Where can I find a photo oof the ring? Why do the faithful, kiss the ring?

You can see a photo of Pope Pius IX's ring here: Houston Museum of Natural Science. If I can find an image with acceptable copyright/license I'll upload it. (The one I linked above is restricted to non-commerical use, and specifically prohibts uploading to a computer network).
As far as the reason, it is a sign of respect and obedience. (Someone has already added this to the main article) Kenj0418 03:37, Apr 8, 2005 (UTC)
I can't find any PD or otherwise wikipedia-able images of the ring. I will add the link above, or similar one to the article. Kenj0418 04:09, Apr 8, 2005 (UTC)
I found one that was attributed, and according to the image license templates, coat of arms and isignia are PD or fair use anyway Kenj0418 04:28, Apr 8, 2005 (UTC)
I haven't been able to locate an image of the "Ring of the Fisherman", watch on the article page, I'm sure one will be added if someone can locate a photo.
