London bridge[edit]

Paul, please see my comment at Wikipedia:Featured_picture_candidates#London_Millennium_Bridge. -- [[User:Solitude|Solitude\talk]] 12:12, Oct 20, 2004 (UTC)

As far as I know there is no license available in the Wikipedia which specifies that the author should be notified when the content is used. This would most likely place to great a burden on anyone re-using the content. I think attribution is good, this will lead people interested in the work to the original author and possible to your other (commercial) images. -- [[User:Solitude|Solitude\talk]] 12:59, Oct 20, 2004 (UTC)
Ah - I hadn't seen Wikipedia:Copyright_problems#Non-commercial_use_images.. Sod it, I'll make this one cc-by-sa :)
Thanks for the help - PaulLomax 13:07, Oct 20, 2004 (UTC)

Hi Paul from Adrian. I wanted to explain why I've put a near-identical pic to yours on the article, but in colour. Although your pic is very beautiful I felt that the reader should have the alternative of a colour pic and one that could be viewed all-at-once (mine is 750 px wide). Hope you don't mind, Best Wishes, Adrian - Adrian Pingstone 16:29, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
