Agreed, the article Tammany Hall is much more biased and well researched, they should either be merged or this one completely deleted since it has little or no new information. 130.184.151.249 14:42, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Yes, this article looks comparatively amateurish and not very useful. The central facet of Tammany history is political corruption and control, and this is not even mentioned here. I'd vote for replacing this with a synonym link to Tammany Hall. The only thing to save from this one is the intriguing reference to connection with some rehabilitation of the reputation of Native Americans; but somebody should do some research and make sure there is something to it. Of the information that I could glean from this article, the only relevant and verifiable fact was some of the native american leanings at the beginning. I put that into the Tammany Hall article.
