Hello. As you've probably realized by now, we have a rule prohibiting any individual from reverting the same page more than three times in 24 hours. You have been blocked for violating this rule on Binational solution; when your block expires I encourage you to return and continue contributing. —No-One Jones (m) 06:02, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)

State terrorism[edit]

What a shame you didn't like my revert. What I find a shame that you employ a slur ("Jew") to someone you have never dealt with. No personal attacks, please. I never attacked you. JFW | T@lk 01:27, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)

1. You should read NPOV. WhisperToMe 02:13, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC) 2. From looking at the post above, I am going to say this: Let's have racial and cultural harmony, shall we? The EN wikipedia reaches the whole world, and you will deal with all sorts 'a people here, such as Mexicans, Chinese, Swedes, Canadians, and yes, Jews. WhisperToMe 02:13, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)

NPOV and your intro[edit]

"I name myself Abdel Qādir al-Jazā'irī after the great leader of Algerian resistance to French colonialism because in these so-called modern times, the Arab and Islam still is fighting against the colonialism of Jews and Americans. And it will continue so until the justice is finally found." We're trying to write an encyclopedia here, not enable missions to push a point of view. Please do reread NPOV - we take it seriously. A gratuitously confrontative statement on a user page is likely to lead to bad working conditions.

Please do continue to edit, though. Another useful article to read is Wikipedia:Cite sources - when one edits contentious articles, it can help in arguments to justify every assertion. References are a good thing! - David Gerard 15:04, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Sock puppets and Wikipedia[edit]

These all appear to be you: Pravda, RomperRoomReject, Goines, Kosudo CONMEBOL, 888, Abdel Qadir, SLUR, Crypto, Weisenthaler. We are very tolerant and try to assume good faith, but we aren't stupid and can read the logs. Please do not do this sort of thing again - David Gerard 01:23, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)

That must be the royal "we". The "we" that I'm one of doesn't have a problem with sockpuppets so long as they're not used for nefarious purposes.Dr Zen 07:23, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)
In this case, they were: this user and all those users (and several others) are socks of User:Alberuni, who's in arbitration at present for personal abusiveness, 3RR violations and POV-pushing, and created a whole pile of socks around that time, apparently to continue the task - David Gerard 13:42, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Istiqlal.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Istiqlal.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. *drew 16:15, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
