Dominic Widdows is a researcher and software engineer in mathematics, linguistics and branches of informatics, living in Bellevue, Washington and working with the Bing Local Search team.

He is the author of Geometry and Meaning, a book about the use of geometric models for representing meaning in natural language, numerous scientific articles, and some music and poetry that can be found at http://www.puttypeg.net.

His contributions to the open source community include the Infomap NLP Software, and the more recent SemanticVectors Package.
