US 94 should have its own article, IMHO, not a misdirection to US 41. It was a separate entity in the U.S. Highway System. To click on a link to US 94 and then have US 41 appear would not make any sense to someone without any prior knowledge of the assimillation 0f US 94 into US 41.

I agree for a couple of additional reasons. First, Florida State Road 90 and historic US Highway 94 are identical; so if there is any redirects that are needed here it would be FROM SR 90 and not to US 41. Second, a US 94 article would deal with a different aspect of the Tamiami Trail (which covered the entire length of SR 90 plus several dozen miles), the perspective of history. US 94 deserves, and needs, either its own article or its inclusion on a separate Tamiami Trail article. B.Wind 07:12, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why US 94 was redirected to US 41 - was this done by the same person who had redirects of other roads (like US 90 Alternate and Alternate A1A) deleted because they were "only a small part of" the target? US 94 and State Road 90 were one and the same, so the redirect page should go to that and NOT to the US highway between Biscayne Bay and Lake Superior. 147.70.242.39 01:52, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
