Welcome, Jizzbug. I've seen yur edits on Anarchism -- some good work! However, I'm not sure about some of the external links: they are anarchist, but they're each one form of anarchism. Should they be put on the Libertarian socialism page? (Or whatever we're going to call that -- anarcho-communism, anarchist communism -- see Talk:Libertarian socialism.) Anyway, hope you settle in. It's good to have another person interested in anarchism here! -- Sam

Hi. Could you use the "move page" function instead of copying & pasting between pages? That function preserves the article's edit history. See the FAQ page for more info. cheers -- Tarquin 23:18 Dec 26, 2002 (UTC)

I'd tried, but the place I was trying to move to was already created. 'GNOME' was redirecting to 'Gnome desktop', and when I tried to move 'Gnome desktop' to 'GNOME', it said the node already existed. What does one do in this case? Had I blanked out everything in 'GNOME's body, would it have moved? I suppose I ought to have tried, but I figured it still wouldn't work. --Jizzbug
Ah. In that case you need to ask an admin to delete the destination article. I'll add that to the FAQ. -- Tarquin 10:09 Dec 27, 2002 (UTC)

Just saw you reverted anarchism from a page content deletion -- just to let you know, that's not necessarily (intentional) vandalism; it can happen by accident, usually when someone's net connection is slow and times out. --Sam

The format you put the external links in looked okay, but it's now been added to and made into a list. Just to let you know: I've moved all of them to the talk page. They need to be spread out over the various pages that relate to them. That list is just horrible (take a look). I could use some help in sorting out that page :) -- Sam 11:20 Jan 18, 2003 (UTC)

RE: PS3 metldr key[edit]

I reverted it because as far as I am aware, posting the key is a copyvio, or a least is not permitted under the DMCA, which governs any data that is stored on US servers (including Wikipedia). Wikipedia is not run under a system that uses precedents to determine rules (i.e. it does not use a common law system), but even if it did, the key has already been removed repeatedly by Wikipedia:Oversight, so such a "precedent" has more than been set against the keys anyway. Regardless of the system used, the key itself has no encyclopædic value; the fact that it has been discovered and distributed is indeed notable (and already mentioned), but the key itself has little value to the understanding of the issue. The only possible value the key could have is to be actually used (to run unsigned code etc), which is not what Wikipedia is for. Alphathon /'æl.f'æ.ðɒn/ (talk) 01:59, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bt[edit]

Hi Jizzbug, I left comments on the Talk page, and also responded to your remark on my Talk page. My preference would be that comments on articles are on the article's Talk page, so others can more easily see. Jytdog (talk) 18:40, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
