Image Question[edit]

Do you have permission to use Image:R142A Subway Cars.jpg on Wikipedia? You've tagged it public domain; has the picture taker released it as such? --SPUI (talk) 23:55, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, an error on my part; I used the wrong tag. I've fixed it. --Gafaddict 00:33, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Sorry for the late response, and sorry for the bother - you do have permission to release it under the GFDL, right? Again, sorry if this is a misunderstanding. If you do have permission, can you change the nycsubway.org URL to the actual photo? The one you gave doesn't match. --SPUI (talk) 21:52, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I replied late as well. A month late. Sorry about that. Anyway, no, I never did get permission, and by this time I think the image has been deleted. --Gafaddict 03:54, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Honesty on Benjamin Harrison[edit]

I think the new MediaWiki software automatically adds "blanked the page" to the summary now. Either that, or the vandals have gotten awfully courteous as of late. Neier 02:08, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
