Your comments accompanying Image:Ghalib mir tribute urdu.PNG are self-contradictory. If you have truly released the image to the public domain, then you cannot retain copyright under "the GNU thingy" (the GFDL). The only legal course of action at this point (as I understand it) is to remove the "under the GNU thingy" comment from the image page; I'll do it in a week or so if you don't get around to it first. I have nominated GCGC, an article that you created, for deletion.
