Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. You might like to start by reading the tutorial and introducing yourself at the new users page. For ideas of what to put on your user page, see Wikipedia:User page.

If you have any questions, you can ask at the help desk or on my talk page. Two useful tips are that you can sign your name using four tildes (~~~~) and you can preview your changes before you save using the show preview button. You can regularly find new tips on the Community Portal. I look forward to reading your great articles and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. :) Angela. 06:25, Apr 30, 2004 (UTC)

I moved the pages for standardization purposes. Please do not move them to a non-standard title. --Jiang 07:55, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

The link you provided does not exist. I don't see your point. --Jiang 07:58, 14 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
This style, which I just noticed was changed. Sorry I did not realize this was an official policy/standard. I accept your moves Canadian federal election, 1872 (Redirected from 1872 Canadian election)

Hi, welcome to wiki. I hope my Toledoth Yeshu stub did not offend you, I copied the info from another Wiki article. It is easy to understand from a Jewish background, but it could be helpful if you want to ask some questions about it on its talk page so that we can edit it to make sense to someone without the same background knowledge. All the best. Zestauferov 09:16, 17 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio problems[edit]

Thanks for letting me know. I have warned this user that they will be temporarily banned from editing if they continue to submit copyrighted material. This should give us time to clean up. -- The Anome 10:03, 18 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Calexico (Talk) 11:05, 18 May 2004 (UTC) - IS there anything I can do to help, considering the amount of clean-up work I have caused?[reply]

Well, after some to-ing and fro-ing I have found the cause of the problem. I have a friend who writes descriptions of companies as his job, and he started sending them to me after I told him about this project and how little financial information there was on here. He doesn't have time to contribute himself, but as they were his own work, I thought nothing of it...now it all seems clear that his work is not owned by him, but is the copyright of his company Bloomberg L.P.. I should have done more checking about this, and want to apologise again for the time you spent cleaning up after me. It WON't happen again... Calexico (Talk) 13:42, 23 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
