Talk:List of gay pornographic magazines

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here is a list of gay porno magazines. Please feel free to add any information or additional titles that you may have. I have notwikilinked each individual title because I doubt that anyone is going to be writing an article about any one of these that would be long enough to warrant a separate article. Information relating to country of publication, publication dates, and focus of the magazine is probably all that will ever be accumulated about any of these magazines, so it would not seem to make sense to go about creating separate articles, let alone a whole bunch of red links to non-existent articles. Fair use[edit]

None of the images in this article are being used under the terms of fair-use. We may use the copyrighted images only to depict the specific issue in question, not the magazine generally. Additionally, most or all of the images are missing their detailed fair-use rationale. To remove all of the images without warning is a rather drastic change, mind you, so I thought I'd raise the problem for discussion first. --Yamla 23:33, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide a source for the "not the magazine generally" claim. The images indeed depict the specific issues in question; these depictions are used as examples of the magazine generally. Template:Magazinecover, which is included on the image pages, provides a detailed rationale.
This is all standard practice; off the top of my head, People (magazine), Time (magazine), and Fortune (magazine) have copyrighted images of specific issues, used as fair-use representations of the magazine generally. Are you are prepared to remove those as well? PseudoAnon 07:15, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I think the page should be merged into List of pornographic magazines with Hetrosexual magz at the top and Homosexual magz at the bottom.Quinnzach 02:13, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
