The Latest[edit]

(2024) Does anyone read user pages any more? Wow, I've been on Wikipedia for 21 years now, long enough to see the article count increase from 100,000 to nearly 7 million (in English alone).

(2018) I remembered my login! But I've only made anonymous edits the past few years.

User Info before 2008: Ancient History[edit]

I'm an engineer in the field of machine vision, which is essentially a combination of computer vision--the academic study of "making computers see"--and industrial automation.

(Yada yada yada) . . . I wish I could find a snooker table within 100 miles.

. . . and I found a snooker table. Well, after quite a bit of work and lots of help I found over 300 snooker tables (now nearly 400 tables) in the U.S. http://www.findsnooker.com/

Here's a quick list of articles for which I've written first drafts.

Miscellany[edit]

(That is, assuming that none of the subsequent new pages are non-articles, which may not actually be true.)" -- from "Wikipedia: 100,000th article" (as of 21 Jan 2003)
