CRSid[edit]

It wouldn't go abc1... abc10. For a start, modern CRSids are five characters long (the old ones were seven, and five again before that). For another thing, they don't allocate xxxx1 (presumably because it looks like an L); they always begin with 2. The Wednesday Island 19:45, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unique Student Identifier[edit]

This applies to Australia.

"From 1 January 2015, all students doing nationally recognised training need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). This includes students doing Vocational Education Training (VET) in schools."

See www.usi.gov.au/About/Pages/default.aspx. Perhaps this should be added to this page? 220 of Borg 06:30, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Student ID Austria[edit]

This section is apparently filled with a lot of wrong information. First of all, current Austrian student IDs are - as in the example listed in this section - 7 digit numbers, not 8 digtis numbers. The current correct format would be: YYUUXXX Second, the university issuing the number is - to my knowledge - a 2 digit number, in such a way, that each university has a specific range of Student IDs per academic year. There can be a prepending lowercase latin letter (f.e.: a = University of Vienna, e = Technical University of Vienna, s = University of Applied Arts), which is not part of the students ID, but may be used in email adresses to show the students affiliation. Third, the number of enrollment should therefore consit of UUXXX, and is a number out of the university's number pool. Lcnittl (talk) 16:26, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
