Suggest a change to the rules that if it an article's current revision is a near-total rewrite executed within the past month that has left <2000 characters, it qualifies. 119 02:22, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Judging[edit]

So, as one of the people who was asked to judge this: what are we now supposed to do? -- Jmabel | Talk 23:31, Apr 1, 2005 (UTC)

Read and comment briefly on the articles; come up with a top ten list (not necessarily in order). Then we should discuss our results, and reach consensus on the best nominations, in order. Perhaps an IRC meeting next weekend? Then we announce results on the mailing list, and post them here and to the meta page. +sj +
Tell you what: I'm going to start a Wikipedia:International writing contest/Judges' comments page. -- Jmabel | Talk 02:16, Apr 2, 2005 (UTC)

Judging the current state[edit]

Naturally the articles listed in this competition are continuing to grow and expand. When the judges look at them now will it be at the last version in March? violet/riga (t) 14:22, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The last March version. Or the best... if you think some other version was the best that month, let us know! +sj +
I'd most like you all to look at the one from about an hour ago! ;) violet/riga (t) 22:54, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Featured status[edit]

I think it's a credit to the authors of the articles here that, of the top six, four of the articles are now featured with a fifth about to go through unanimously. Great work! violet/riga (t) 12:04, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Article rating competition[edit]

Somewhat inspired by thes, the Wikipedia:Article rating competition is a proposal to informally rate articles under given topics chosen every week. Take a look and comment on the talk page. violet/riga (t) 19:19, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
