New Template for Rivers[edit]

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I've been working on a new template to replace {{River}}. It's called {{Infobox_river}} (details), and I've moved all articles using the old one to the new. I see you're using the old one on a couple of Sandbox pages, and they will break when it's removed. Drop me a line if you have any questions. Thanks, —Papayoung

TRPA[edit]

Hey I wrote an article here on Wikipedia on the TRPA. I saw on Tahoe's talk page, you expressed interest on the subject. Here is the link: Tahoe Regional Planning Agency

I didn't put this in the article (becuase this is an encylopedia not a foruum), but the TRPA is a crazy oligopoly which rules Tahoe with greed. Everything they do is imoral, and hipocrtial. They pass degrees based on unproven, or even disproven science, and screw up tahoe. Tobyk777 03:31, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Sac_county_cdp_map.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Sac_county_cdp_map.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. MECUtalk 01:12, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Scupper/Sandbox/[edit]

User:Scupper/Sandbox/, a page which you created, and seven related pages have been nominated for deletion. The guideline for user pages indicates that "[w]hile userpages and subpages can be used as a development ground for generating new content, this space is not intended to indefinitely archive ... content that is meant to be part of the encyclopedia. ... Private copies of pages that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion."

You are always welcome to resume contributing; if you do resume, if the nominated pages are deleted, and if you require the content of the deleted pages, you may request that they be restored by contacting any administrator, including the one who closes the discussion.

If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Scupper/Sandbox. Thank you, –Black Falcon (Talk) 04:16, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted your subpages except for /sandbox. If you would like them restored, please do not hesitate to contact me. bibliomaniac15 03:43, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:SacCountySeal.gif[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:SacCountySeal.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jay32183 (talk) 23:42, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Rc city logo.gif[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Rc city logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:38, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
