Talk:List of major figures in the video game industry

Page is currently almost identical to list of people in the game industry but, as that list develops, this one will develop more slowly. Snowspinner 21:03, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I can't say I see the point with this one. Until it's grown tremendously much more, I prefer the idea of putting emphasis on the most important figures in the general list. Fredrik 08:09, 21 Apr 2004 (UTC)

It's an editorial convenience thing. It's easier to split the list now, when they're both relatively small than to wait for list of figures to expand dramatically, and then have to sort out a spinoff. The emphasis would be good, but I always like when you can filter out minor information. As I see it, more ways to get information are superior to fewer. Snowspinner 14:51, 21 Apr 2004 (UTC)
