Please don't remove clichés...[edit]

just because you don't think they belong. Make them relevant or if you must remove one, have a specific reason and state it so.

I always thought the "Moran Guy" picture was actually from the end of Office Space when they're trucking off the main character to jail. The guy holding the sign is the macho neighbor guy, isn't he?

No way. Absolutely not.

Besides, when was the last time you watched that movie? The main character was never trucked off to jail. Get thee to the video store!

Your Dog Wants Steak[edit]

Doesn't the "Your Dog Wants Steak" thing derive from The Simpsons? I seem to remember an episode with a pet store clerk pretending to be psychic and reading Santa's Little Helper's mind, saying the immortal line, but I haven't watched in years, so I can't be sure. --HBK 17:39, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

As the list is growing (thanks to the tireless work of myriad Farkers), it seems to me that it is about time to organize the clichès in categories, rather than list them alphabetically. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm thinking along the lines of:

Internet (geek) references (Ninja Burger, Icy Hot Suntaz)
Culture references (american: "Duke sucks", japanese: domo-kun, french: Melissa Theuriau)
Movie references ("... find Sarah Connor", Admiral Ackbar)
Fark-centric - originated only on fark (Black baby head(?), Squirrel nuts, "I work for...")
Picture references (Ha Ha man, Mustard man)
???

Whence 'o'?[edit]

It's a reference to the 'o'riginal image, generally posted before any submissions have been made. Sometimes it's a mirr'o'r of the original.

Slashes[edit]

Merge this with Fark.com[edit]

This desperately needs to be merged with Fark.com and it needs to be cleaned up. I'll begin this process in a few hours when I get some time. Wikipedia isn't the place to document or chronicle inside jokes on other websites, especially when a reader of this article wouldn't get most of it.
